NYPD Cops Save Man Trying To Jump From Bridge

Emergency Service Unit (ESU) cops saved a man who was attempting to jump from a bridge in Manhattan Wednesday. The officers were on scene within minutes and immediately deployed an airbag on the roadway below while the man began to climb to the top of the bridge and stand at the edge.

After two hours of communicating with the distraught man, Sergeant Matthew Zucker, Detectives Claudio Sanchez, Vincent Caputo, and Officers Daniel MacSweeney, Kirk Baker, and Aramis Ramos from ESU Truck #2 were able to secure him and lower him safely onto the airbag below. The man was transported to Harlem Hospital in stable condition for evaluation.
