At least two people have been shot, and one person killed in riots in downtown Charlotte when protests over the police shooting of Keith Lamont Scott yesterday spiraled out of control.
The person who was killed at a protest in Charlotte was shot by another civilian, the North Carolina city tweeted on its official account. Charlotte police did not fire the shot.
