OCALA, Fla. —WESH 2 News is exploring new video of a gun battle in Ocala. The video, which shows several people opening fire in broad daylight, was released by Ocala police.

The shootout happened in July at a home on Southwest 4th Street, south of State Road 40.

Video shows the moment when two men pulled guns on each other and opened fire in the Ocala neighborhood. One of the men used an AR-15.

Video also shows a man with a smaller gun shooting first. The other man fired back with the long gun, even after it appeared he had been shot. That man is then seen running toward the home with blood seeping through his shirt.

The entire incident was caught on video from a home surveillance system.

Ocala detectives believe a feud between the two men led to the gun fight, but according to Marion County jail records, two of the men involved were booked into jail this past week.

Jeremy Willis and Jeffrey Aaron are charged with attempted murder. A third man, Marc Williams, was also arrested and accused of violating probation.

Witnesses told WESH 2 News they heard the gunshots when some of the bullets shattered windows.

Aaron posted bond and was released from jail on Wednesday. Willis is still being held on bond. A full detailed report is expected to be released by Ocala police by the end of this week.
