Dramatic Mob Style Homicide at Burger Lane in Philadelphia

On Saturday, October 22, 2016, 39th District Police responded to a shooting/person with a gun inside Burger Lane located at 2805 North 22nd Street. When police arrived they observed a Burger Lane employee, Aaron Jones a 23 year-old male from the 31xx block of Rosewood Street, lying on the floor with a gunshot wound to his back.

Jones was transported Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced at 1:42 pm. While at Temple Hospital police encountered a second shooting victim/employee, a 16 year-old male with a gunshot wound to his right leg.

On Saturday, October 22, 2016, at 1:19 pm, two unknown males dressed in female garb with head coverings entered Burger Lane located at 2805 North 22nd Street and fired several gunshots at the employees killing one and wounding another.

The Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Unit is looking to identify the two perpetrators as well as a 1995-2002 Buick Park Avenue dark metallic green in color, that the suspects fled in after the shooting. The vehicle was driven by a third individual and was last seen traveling west on Cambria Street from 22nd Street. The two suspects as well as the vehicle are depicted in the following surveillance video.
