The incident began at a residence located in the 7700 block of Coral Cactus Road. Police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance. Arriving officers encountered a male at the front of the residence who was armed with a rifle and shots were fired between the suspect and officers.
No officers were injured during the exchange. The suspect then went to a nearby residence. It is unknown if anyone was inside.
