Bodycam Video Shows Fatal Gerald Hall Shooting

Bodycam video has been released showing a man with a knife being fatally shot following a confrontation with D.C. Police on Christmas day. Police say the officers were sent to his address following a report of a domestic disturbance. When police arrive, they encountered a man holding a knife and ordered him to drop it. He ignored the order and an officer then fired in self defense. Police then administer first aid and transport the man to a local hospital, where he later died.

The officer who fired the shot has been placed on administrative leave while a Internal Affairs Bureau leads an investigation into the incident.
