On January 16, 2017, Park Forest Police Officers responded to an unconscious man suspected of suffering from an opioid overdose. The vehicle was locked and in drive, and officers could see an exposed needle. After forcing entry into the vehicle, the officers administered Naloxone, an anti-opioid medicine, resuscitating the man.

The countdown that can be heard just prior to the man’s resuscitation is part of the electronic voice instructions of the medicine delivery system. The face of the man has been blurred to protect his privacy. Paramedics had already been requested in earlier portions of the video not shown, and arrived on scene at the end of this clip.
